Headed to the Playoffs

The Warriors came out victorious in the final game of the 7-6A district season. With a final score of 38-34 they wrapped up the 3rd place spot in one of the toughest districts in the state. The Warriors played great team defense and were led by Karlyn Kenner who poured in 17 points. It was also a very special night for the lone senior, as the team was able to get a win in his last home game at SGP. 

On Tuesday, February 19th, SGP will face of with TABC #9 ranked JJ Pearce High School. The two teams will match up at 7pm at Trinity High School. SGP finishes the regular season 15-16 overall and 8-6 in district. The Warriors are led by Kenner with 17 ppg, and Christian Turner 9.7 ppg. The Mustangs come into the game 20-9 overall and 11-3 in district. They are the 2nd place team out of district 8-6A. The Mustangs are led by Gonzaga commit Drew Timme who averages 23 ppg and 13 rpg.
